First off, I just finished this hat today, and it has been a week in the making. Not really sure if a beaver is on the top of anyone's wish list, but he is cute. I am selling these in the shop and will hopefully write up the pattern when I have some time. I have another hat that is finished as well, but I still need some pics.
Next up is my progress or backward progress for my WIPocalypse challenge. I have taken out my Needlemaina 2, which is from The Sampler Life Yahoo group, and have had to frog the bottom left corner. I was off one stitch to the left. This is why it became a UFO in the first place. I have finally finished frogging the snowflake and plan on continuing on tonight in front of the TV watching Downton Abbey. I missed the first season, and I even missed the reruns last month...UGH. I found out about it last summer and can't wait to watch. I don't have Netflix, but my sister does, and I hope to get over there soon and start watching the first season. Here are the pics of my before and after frogging.

The first full moon post over a Measi's is tomorrow, so I am right on top of it. I'm excited to get more stitching done this year.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful Sunday Evening,
Hillery

The beaver hat is so adorable and so is your little girl... she looks so much like you! I wish I had some little ones that could wear it since the beaver is Canada's official national animal and is shown on our Canadian nickel.
I just love your white and red sampler (hey, more reference to Canada... our flag is red and white! lol). Sorry the frog came to visit though...
All the best in 2012!!
Your hat is really cute, and your model just darling!! Your WIP looks to be quite an amazing piece when finished. Sorry you had to start the year going backwards, but now you get to go forwards - whooo hooo!
oh silly frogs they can never stay away can they.
Good progress though and cute hat!
What an adorable little hat!
I feel your pain on the frogging. It will make me set a piece aside in a heartbeat! But now you've got it down... yay! Here's hoping it's all forward progress from here on out!
That is one adorable hat!
Darn frog! Sorry you had to go backwards but now you're free ;o)
The hat and kid are both adorable. :) And your stitchy piece is exquisite, good work, but -- as a fellow Downton Abbey fan, I can tell you that you can stream last season online from the PBS site, as well as see last night's episode. :) It's worth it, totally ever so worth it!
In fact, it's got me looking for Edwardian design pieces to stitch! :)
Beautiful work!
What a gorgeous hat!
And congrats on the WIP progress too
Lovely work on the hat! It--and your model--are adorable! Love the WIP, too.
The beaver hat is so cute! I just love it. I wish I could come up with my own pattern like that!
That hat is so cute! (heck, I'd wear it, and I'm in my late 30s). Very cute model, too - I think you should hire her again. :)
