A Cottage Finish and a New Start

Here it is!!!  My third finish of the year and second of the Cottages.  Again, I have not added the month name, and have just filled that in with more hearts.  I also shortened the topiaries in the sides of the house.  I had to do that since I have brought the top down about 8 rows.  I think it turned out cute.
Here is the start of March's Cottage.  I am further along on it as of now, but I am going to frog the darker green, it is just too dark for my taste.  Again, I am modifying this one as well.  Hope to post another pic of it soon.  Although I am extremely busy lately, these are going fairly quickly for my standards. I am skipping April for now and have May and June coming in the mail.

I have also come across a huge pile of craft buttons and have put them in the SHOP.  Purples, pinks, greens, blues, reds, whites....These are great for a multitude of crafts, from cross stitch, to sewing, quilting, ornaments....  I have kept many for myself and the rest are up for sale for fantastic prices!!!!

Little Knots Spa Cloth Crochet Pattern

Here is another new Spa Cloth pattern that I have listed in the SHOP.  I am excited about this one too.  I created a stitch that looks to me like little knots.  This makes for a nice scrubby texture to the cloth and its stretchy too.  Makes a perfect dishcloth too.

I am still having a 50% off sale  30% off Sale in the shop, so this pattern is only $1.50   $2.10.  They whip up quickly and make a perfect gift.

I also wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has donated or bought patterns to support my Sister, my Brother in Law and the family.  Every little bit has helped.  They are so far away from home right now.  My Brother in Law is making progress, but it is very, very slow so far.
Thank you for all your prayers as well.  We are very hopeful.

A New Downton Abbey Inspired Baby Toddler Hat~ and Don't Miss My Giveaway

I have been so inspired by Downton Abbey and it's beautiful costumes and scenery, and have seen so much of it over the internet on Blogs and Pinterest.  I have stitched up this little shells hat, added a curved flipped visor and my Carnation flower.  I am so pleased with how it turned out.  I am making more as we speak.    I just can't stop crocheting....don't you just hate that?  Hee Hee.

Well I am back to work, part time, anyway.  I am serving on the weekends, at Ruby Tuesday, and getting home around 11:30PM.  I am so tired on the weekends, my body just aches every morning.  I am just not used to it, but I am hoping I can lose a few pounds running around like I do.  I think I have already lost a couple.  It feels great to have a little more cash on hand though.  Spring fever has hit me, even though we are still burying in snow.  I have been searching the internet for new spring clothes for the girls and I, and feel that a can afford a few new things.

If you haven't already signed up for my GIVEAWAY,  please do so.  The more the merrier.  You can post your comments  HERE.  I am still having a sale in the SHOP as well.

Thanks for stopping by.  I do love your comments,
Hillery

New Girls Slouchy Hat Pattern in the Shop

I have added the Girls Slouchy Hat Pattern to my Etsy Shop.  It has been tested, and is ready to stitch up for your little ones.  Comes in 3 sizes.  6-12 Months, 1-3 Years, and 4-8 Years.  Increase the hook size for tweens.  And it whips up in less than 2 hours.  I love how versatile this hat is.  You can have it a little slouchy or a lot slouchy.  Looks great in stripes too.

I've Officially Started My Etsy Shop

Well, I have officially started my shop. Right now just a couple of things, but I am working on a couple more ideas. I have actually had a few sales. Nothing to write home about, but it's a start.
My shop is called RUSTIC THREADS. It's a name I picked out a while back when I started up on Etsy, and it turns out they won't let you change your name, so I won't be 22 Threads on Etsy. The shop will be dedicated to patterns, finished products, and supplies like yarn and possibly some cross stitch items. Please stop by and add me to your favorites.
Thanks to all my blogging buddies.
