Finally A Ta-Dah!!!

This garland has been finished for days now. It really is a bit too long. I don't have a mantle, and I really didn't know where I was going to hang it. Well, it looks just fine here, but where is the color? I just got red happy, but I think Big Sister and I would love pinks and yellows and purples and blues. I am just going to have to give this one to my Mom and make a new one. I know I should put my efforts somewhere else, but these are so cute and will last a long time. I'll have to start thinking about a spring or Easter garland next. Some flowers, eggs maybe. Any suggestions?

Thanks for stopping by,
Hillery

  3. Looks great hanging in that spot Hillery!(I love your drapes!) I did end up sending the first garland I made to my daughter and she just LOVED it (and her fiancé did too!) I bought some new variegated yarn called "Lipstick" that I'm going to use to make garland #2. Looking forward to seeing what your second one looks like.

Yes, flowers or eggs for spring... I'll be waiting to hear feedback on that one :^)

  5. OK, I just had to go to you tube and check to see if they had tutorials for any of the other holidays. Found a few for shamrocks and quite a few for different types of flowers :^) No Easter eggs though...

  6. Hello Hillery. So happy to see you at Tangled Happy today! I will be posting a short tutorial next week for the wands. It would probably be easier to share a photo of how to than to try to just write it out. Love your heart bunting. Very cute!

  8. I think the hearts are so cute and festive. I love how you draped them. As a good Irish girl, I have to suggest shamrocks :) Or maybe some daisies or daffodils or other spring flowers? I covet your talent, btw. The only thing I can do with yarn is tangle it! :)
